Note:- Soy sauce is usually gluten free (if its fermented the right way), even tho it's made of wheat. If you're not sure about your soy sauce, you can add some vegetable oil instead.
- If you don't like rice (or can't eat rice), you can use cooked Quinoa instead. Just follow the instructions of the package :)
- recipe for 2 servings
Ingrediants
2 big carrots
100g tofu (I used chili-tofu)
1/2 bell pepper (use the color you like)
2 cups broccoli
1 cup rice of your choice
1 soy sauce fish
1 teaspoon of hot pepper paste (if you don't want it to be spicy, don't add it)
Note: use the vegetables you like. (For example: add corn, replace the broccoli with cauliflower, ... just be creative here)
Instructions
- Wash the rice and follow the instructions of the package (my rice had a boiling time of 45 minutes, so don't start preparing your veggies too early)
- Wash and cut the veggies (as shown in the photo above)
- Steam the broccoli for about 5 minutes
- Grab a pan and add all veggies.
- Add water to the pan (to make sure they won't burn)
- Add the hot pepper paste and the soy sauce
- Mix and cook on low heat, until the veggies are as soft as you want them to be (if it gets too dry, add more water) (if you use oil instead of soy sauce, add oil, not water)
- Add the tofu and fry/cook until it's ready :)
- Don't forget the rice! Grab a cup or small bowl and put rice in it. Flip it over on your plate.
- Add the veggies and enjoy!
